Well, today my first class Final (which was 2D Design in the Art building) started at 8 AM (keep that time in mind), and I was running a bit late. I only had little amount of time to eat breakfast, take out the dog, brush my teeth, etc. So unfortunately, I ended up being late. In a way...
Now when I arrived at my classroom......NO ONE WAS THERE!! O_O No one! No students, no teacher, NO NOTHING! The door was locked and the lights were off! When I first saw this, I thought that the teacher might have moved the class to another room (although she made NO mention of room changes the week before, and she said to meet in the classroom on this very day at that time). A teacher unlocked the door for me, but I didn't know what good it would do at the moment. So I spent the next 20-30 minutes searching for my class throughout the entire building! Both the first and the second floor!
Finally at one point, a secretary saw me looking around and asked if I needed help. I told her what happened and she pointed me towards a desk to some other secretaries. So I told them what happened! They checked (and possibly double checked) the room and saw no one there! So they asked me who was the teacher in the room (I won't say her name, not only for privacy reasons, but her last name is hard to pronounce and I don't really recall it...
It turns out that she informed the students that they should meet in the classroom at 9 AM...via text message...T_T And not only that, she didn't even inform the school about it!
So the secretaries told me to wait in the classroom (which took about 30 minutes until everyone arrived), and...yeah, that's pretty much it!
It's funny how that even though I was originally late, I turn out to be early! It's weird how things work out like that sometimes! In a way, I'm kind of glad that I was the only one arriving at (or around) the exact time of when we were supposed to meet. I feel kind of proud of myself for that (if that makes ANY sense at all). It also makes me think that I'M more responsible than the teacher is! That's.. really...odd! o_o
I apologize for the length of this journal, but I felt like I should share this interesting story with you guys! ^^
